Since the 1930’s, The Garden Grill & Pub has been part of a long line of bars and taverns in the Bemidji, MN, region. Constructed in the early 1900’s, our building is nestled away in the Nymore neighborhood near the Mississippi River.

Owner Jeff Naasz got into the bar and restaurant business because he enjoys working with people and getting to know his customers. He has been in the bar restaurant industry for most of his life. At The Garden Grill & Pub, everyone is welcome and treated like a regular － it’s our tradition.

Who Doesn’t Love Dining & Drinking at The Garden?

Everytime I travel I always find a place to eat that’s not a corporate joint but something local. That’s where you find the best food. This place definitely continued that. I had their cajun burger and by far the best cajun burger I have ever had. The burger was juicy and delicious. It was an actual burger and not a pattie frozen for days. Well done folks, I will definitely return and recommend you. Our waitress was also very friendly and did a great job. — Jake

This was the perfect place to stop if you want to stop in for a quick beer and some food.. the server came and found us after we ordered cuz we went for a smoke and our food was done before we could finish our smokes… perfect small town bar with small town service (excellent). This is your typical bar, but the food isn’t typical. We went with our kids, ages 3 & 11, while vacationing in Bemidji. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Everyone was so nice and our food was delicious. The Joe’s Reuben will start your mouth on fire, and I mean that in a good way. The hubby had the chicken bacon Swiss and said it was perfect. Kids split popcorn chicken and it was more than enough for 2. — Michelle

My go to lunch bar when ever I’m working in the area. Burgers are always made from fresh local ground beef. Plenty of variety in the tap beer department including some of the locally brewed beers. Usually a local or two to strike up a conversation. What more could you ask for. — Kelly
